Only one month before the first project is due to leave. From that moment on, the projects will follow one after the other. Until then, the project groups are still busy raising a nice amount of money to take to Serbia, Bosnia or Croatia. For example, fundraising campaigns have been set up such as a high tea, selling stuff at markets, sports workshops and various dinners and drinks.
A good example of raising money comes from the Stamnica project, of which the project group sold cupcakes and brownies in Amsterdam on King's Day. “In the beginning people walked past at a normal pace, barely looking back at the cakes. A little later we started addressing passers-by, explaining the project we are going to this summer. Some people gave us money without even wanting a cup of cake; they gave money purely for a good cause! ”
