An experience of losing a loved one more often than we would like to admit. After death, funeral or cremation, we are expected to gradually pick up the thread of our lives. But how do we do that? And what or who do we need for this? Many students 'just' continue with everything, as if nothing has changed. However, something has changed after the death of a loved one. Everything is actually different…. how to deal with this? And with whom do you make it negotiable?
In January we will start a new group 'Dealing with loss'.
During five meetings the following themes will be discussed: Own experience, emotions, life experience, memories, communication and rituals. A group consists of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people. After registration, an intake interview takes place to gain insight into your situation. Within the group - through exchange and recognition - a lot is learned from each other.
The upcoming group is headed by Walter Burgering and Carla Lourens and starts in January 2020. You can register until 15 January at Walther. There are no costs involved.
