Afternoon Meditations at the University

Back in balance with short afternoon meditations

Would you like to meditate (try), but it always does not happen? Join a series of short afternoon meditations to get you started. From September 6, there will be a short meditation at the university of applied sciences every Tuesday afternoon at 12.30 pm.

What are you going to do?

The mediation starts with a short introduction; the actual meditation takes about 20-25 minutes. At the end of this guided meditation there is room to set your positive intention for that day or the coming days.

Why meditate?
During meditation you take a moment of silence, rest and relaxation for yourself. This continues throughout the rest of your day. Meditation is a great distraction to learn to let go, especially at busy times. Meditation can also help you lower the stress you are feeling.

When and where?
At Leiden University of Applied Sciences. Sessions are every Tuesday from 12:30-13:30 o'clock (except during school holidays). The meditation takes place in room A1.021, except on September 27 when it is in room F1.022

Practical Information
You can just walk in. It is not necessary to register in advance, special clothing, yoga mat and experience are not necessary. Everybody is welcome. The meditations are guided by Claudia Sarti, Spiritual counselor/life coach of Hogeschool Leiden. For questions you can email to sarti.c@hsleidingen.nl.
